Family parties across the Circle City
Corona celebrations tend to be family affairs: a first communion lunch, a baptism party, a sixtieth birthday with three generations at the table, or a summer get-together that grows every time someone texts a cousin. Hibachi fits that crowd because it is dinner and entertainment in one, and the chef can cook vegetarian plates and kid-friendly portions right alongside the steak and shrimp.
If you would rather not rent tables and chairs, the Hibachi Table Experience brings them, along with linens, plates and utensils, and seats your guests around the grill restaurant-style. The Basic Hibachi Experience is the simpler choice when you already have seating and just want the chef, the grill and the food.
Eastvale, Norco and Temescal Valley: very different backyards
Eastvale grew quickly on former dairy land, and most homes there are newer, with compact, landscaped backyards. That is plenty of room for hibachi, but measure first: each station needs a flat area about 12 × 8 ft (that already includes the seating on three sides of the grill), with a walkway around it. If the yard is tight, the driveway or a cleared garage with the door open often works better.
Norco is the opposite. Horsetown USA has big lots, barns, arenas and riding trails, and space for a large party. Set the grill on flat, firm ground rather than soft dirt or an arena, keep it well away from horses and stalls, and tell us about gates, gravel drives and where to park.
In Temescal Valley, many homes sit inside gated or active-adult communities off I-15. Ask your HOA about outside caterers, open flames and clubhouse use, and send us the gate instructions with your booking.
Corona’s canyon winds
Corona sits at the mouth of the Santa Ana River canyon, and when the Santa Ana winds blow in fall and winter, the gusts here can be strong. The chef matches the fire tricks to the conditions and may keep the flames low on a gusty night. Pick a spot sheltered by the house or a wall, and anchor decorations, napkins and tablecloths so they stay put.
Summers are hot this far inland, so schedule dinner toward sunset and give guests some shade. If rain is in the forecast, we still cook: a tent can keep the guests dry, while the grill goes under a covered patio, carport or open garage with good airflow.
