Hibachi Catering began with our founder, Eric Florentino, whose culinary journey started in the most fundamental roles of the kitchen, growing through every station with discipline and passion. Years spent inside American, Italian, fast-food, and traditional Japanese kitchens sharpened his craft and shaped his vision for exceptional hospitality.
Determined to take the excitement of teppanyaki outside the restaurant, Eric launched Hibachi Catering—transforming backyards and event spaces into immersive culinary stages. One grill turned into an entire fleet, and today we’re one of Southern California’s most recognized hibachi experiences.
