Balboa Island and the Peninsula
Homes on Balboa Island and the Balboa Peninsula sit close together on small lots, with garages off narrow alleys and very little street parking in summer. That is part of the charm, and it means the load-in needs a plan. Tell us whether we should come through the alley, where the closest open space is and whether a garage or driveway can be cleared for the grill.
Many of these houses are vacation rentals booked for summer weeks and holidays. If you are renting, check the house rules or ask the owner about outside caterers, open-flame grills and guest limits before you book us. The grill belongs on the patio or in the driveway, not on the sand, and anything on the beach itself depends on the city’s beach rules, so check those first.
